I got married and started a family right after high school. We have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren now. I was a stay at home mom for the first 7 years. After working a few different jobs over the years I decided to go to school for Medical Assisting. I’ve worked at several medical offices including Associated Internists of Danbury until they closed in 96. I then starting working for DOPs which is now called WCMG. I’m starting my 24th year with them and working at the Southbury Primary Care practice.

I always figured I’d go on to nursing but I became complacent because I love what I do. Now with retirement 10 years out I’m content with what I do and eyeing the possibility of moving to VA Beach area after retiring.
