I'm so excited about coming back to Bethel and seeing as many folks as can make it! It seems both like BHS was just yesterday and also years ago.

I worked at IBM for a few decades. I love to teach so left IBM so I could teach more. Now, I am very involved with plant-based nutrition and am a Food for Life instructor (fflclasses.org). I also teach math and tweet about it (and about veganism and cultural events) @dbarman. Most of all, I am a homeschooling 4th grade teacher!

I got married in my 40s and in 2008 was delighted that my wife Sangeeta and I had a baby. I became a stay-at-home Dad and have been homeschooling Anu since she graduated from Kindergarten.
